Fredrik Thordendal
Fredrik Thordendal (born February 11, 1970 in Umeå , Sweden ) is a Swedish guitarist and composer . He is considered one of the co-founders of the Meshuggah band .
Life
In 1985 Thordendal founded the band Metallien together with drummer Örjan Lindmark, singer Roger Olofsson, guitarist Peder Gustafsson and bassist Janne Wikl . The music group Metallien broke up after a few appearances and demos and Fredrik Thordendal initially played with a different line-up and under a different name. In 1987 Thordendal joined the newly formed band Meshuggah as a guitarist and has been there ever since.
