The pool Kirchdorf is in possession of the municipality of Kirchdorf an der Iller befindliches, built in 1967 pool in Illertal .

description

The outdoor swimming pool is located at the southern end of the village, together with the Dr. Hans Liebherr stadium, tennis courts and grass field. In 2013, the swimming pool with eight 50-meter lanes was the largest open-air swimming pool in the Biberach district . The 5-meter diving platform also includes two jumping opportunities from one and three meters high.

Between 1990 and 1991 the pools were renewed and a 70-meter water slide was installed. In 2001 a second children's pool was added. The shuttle canal, two water splash dolphins and a changing room are grouped around four large parasols .

On sunny days, there is space for up to 5,000 bathers on the 25,000 m² sunbathing lawn. The number of visitors per year ranged between 63,184 (2007) and 132,908 (2003).
