Freiburg University Gazette

The Freiburg University Gazette has been published four times a year since 1962 as an independent editorial publication at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg in the Rombach Verlag in Freiburg im Breisgau . They are published on behalf of the university rector by the Studium Generale of the university and aim to provide as broad a picture as possible of the research topics at the university.

The first edition appeared in 1962 in collaboration with the political scientist Arnold Bergstraesser and the Freiburg publisher Fritz Hodeige .

The "Jubilee Volume", the 195th edition, is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the musicologist Hans Heinrich Eggebrecht .
