Barons of Moll

The Barons von Moll are a noble family , originally from the Spanish Netherlands and from there came to Germany and Austria.

history

On April 23, 1555, a wolf or Wolfgang was confirmed the nobility . The coat of arms was recognized on December 6, 1563. The brothers Wolf and Friedrich were raised to the imperial and hereditary nobility on July 6, 1580. On February 19, 1655, he was accepted into the Landmannschaft of the knighthood in the Archduchy of Upper Austria .

With the nobility diploma of March 4, 1789, Ludwig Gottfried received the title of baron for himself and his descendants of both sexes. On the family tree the succession of the family of Johann von Moll, who was consul of Trento from 1520 to 1535, is handed down to the present. Another descendant was Karl von Moll . The Barons von Moll should not be confused with the noble Mollard family .
