External bilge system

An external bilge system or external bilge pump is a bilge pump on board boats or ships , which - in contrast to the usual use of a bilge pump - is not intended for pumping out own water, but rather serves to pump out water that has penetrated on foreign ships.

Typically have the modern sea rescue boats and cruisers such foreign Lenz systems (often mobile pumps) on board in order for a disabled vessel in the event of leaks pump out about Come or penetrated by a water leak.
