Friends is a children's book by Helme Heine . Three friends, the mouse Johnny Mauser , the rooster Franz von Hahn and the fat Waldemar , a pig, go through all the ups and downs of life.

The book, published in 1982, has a total German print run of 1,000,000 copies and has been translated into 17 languages. In 1983 it was awarded the Troisdorf picture book prize. Since then, numerous other adventures of the three friends have appeared.

filming

From 9 October 2005, in the program with the mouse a total of 26 short episodes of each Three friends under the name of A Case for Friends aired.

On July 23, 2009, Mullewapp started - the great cinema adventure of friends in the cinema. The main roles are voiced by Benno Fürmann , Joachim Król and Christoph Maria Herbst .
