The Frickinger Heimathefte were a series of local history that was published by the Heimatverein Frickingen - Oberes Aachtal e. V. was published. 6 issues appeared between 1988 and 1999. They contain essays on the history of the municipality of Frickingen ( Bodenseekreis ), its suburbs (Frickingen, Altheim, Leustetten) and its neighboring municipalities, as well as contributions to the folklore and geology of the lower Linzgau . The Frickinger Heimathefte will not be continued; In its place, the municipal administration association of Salem, Frickingen and Heiligenberg has been publishing the similarly structured “ Linzgau Mosaic ” since 2016 .
