Friedberger Strasse 27 (Bad Vilbel)
The house at Friedberger Straße 27 in the southern Hessian town of Bad Vilbel ( Wetteraukreis ) is a listed half-timbered house from the 1st half of the 18th century.
The two-storey building on the corner of Friedberger Strasse and Homburger Strasse is the last part of a courtyard that is largely in its original state. While the ground floor was changed by an extension and the integration of a shop, the upper and attic floors as well as the hipped roof have been preserved in their original form. The posts on the gable side, stiffened as man forms , and the profiled storey offsets in the roof are striking .
The facility, which housed a farrier and nail smithy in the 19th century, is located on the edge of the historic district of Vilbel .
