Friedersdorf is a former municipality in the Saxon district of Bautzen and has been a district of Pulsnitz since January 1, 1994 .

geography

Friedersdorf is located about twelve kilometers southwest of the city of Kamenz and about 25 kilometers northeast of Dresden . Friedersdorf is located in western Upper Lusatia in the Pulsnitz Valley , between the hills of the Upper Lusatian hill country (highest elevation Keulenberg at 413 m), in the transition between the flat pond landscape in the north and the Lusatian mountains in the south.
