Friederun Stockmann

Friederun Stockmann , also Friederun von Miriam-Stockmann (* as Friederun von Miriam 1891 in Riga ; † 1973 in Mühldorf am Inn ) was a German dog breeder and author .

Stockmann moved to Munich at the age of 18 and studied sculpture there. In Munich she met her future husband Philip Stockmann, who owned a boxer . Stockmann dedicated herself to boxer breeding, which led her to worldwide fame under the name “Vom Dom”. She wrote nonfiction books about the musculoskeletal system of dogs and nonfiction and entertainment literature about boxers.
