Friedland Prize for those returning home
The Friedland Prize of Homecomers is an art and literature prize that has been donated by the Association of Homecomers, Prisoners of War and Members of Missing Persons in Germany and has been awarded annually since 1960.
The prize was designed as a scholarship, the initial prize money was 3,000 D-Mark .

- 1960: Wolfgang Schwarz for The Invisible Bridge
- 1961: Fritz Theilmann (1902–1991) for the sculpture “Those who die defenseless”.
- 1963: Hans Melchior Brugk (1909–1999) for the composition Deutsches Te Deum .
- 1976: Wolfdietrich Kopelke (* 1914)
- 1980: Hans Bahrs (1917-1983); Karl Hochmuth (* 1919)
- 2003: Günther Wagenlehner
Without a year for the award:
