Hans Bahrs
Hans Bahrs (born May 25, 1917 in Hamburg ; † July 18, 1983 there ) was a German writer.
After working as a teacher for a long time, Hans Bahrs became a freelance writer and cultural critic. His topics were shaped by the youth movement , his war experiences ( disabled people ) and by his social commitment. In 1984 he was awarded the poet's stone shield from the Dichterstein Offenhausen association, which was banned in 1999 due to being re- employed by the National Socialists .
