Friedrich (Latin Fridericus ) was the oldest known member of the Staufer family .

mention

Friedrich was mentioned in a list of the ancestors of Emperor Frederick I Barbarossas ( Tabula Consanguinitatis ), which he had drawn up in 1153 by Wibald von Stablo . Friedrich was named first in the list, so his origin is unknown. Apart from his name, no further information about himself was given. It is therefore unclear whether he is identical with the Count Palatine Friedrich in Swabia , who was also Count in Riesgau .

Friedrich von Büren was named as the son .
