Friedrich Avemarie (theologian)

Friedrich Avemarie (born October 19, 1960 in Gießen ; † October 12, 2012 ) was a German Protestant theologian and New Testament scholar.

Life

After receiving his doctorate in 1994 in Tübingen as Dr. theol. and habilitation there in 2000 he taught as a professor of New Testament and Ancient Judaism at the University of Marburg .
