Friedrich Daniel Lamprecht

Friedrich Daniel Lamprecht (born October 10, 1687 in Uelzen ; † May 23, 1772 in Bockenem ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the general diocese of Bockenem .

Life

Lamprecht was a son of August Johann Lambrecht, a Kramer. He attended school in Uelzen and grammar school in Halberstadt . He then studied theology at the universities of Helmstedt and Jena. After a trip to the Netherlands and England he became third pastor (deacon) in Uelzen in 1714, and second pastor (archdeacon) in Uelzen in 1721. In 1733 he was appointed to Bockenem as the first pastor and general superintendent, succeeding his brother-in-law Johann Heinrich Wedderkamp . At the same time he became a member of the consistory in Hildesheim. On November 1, 1733 he was introduced to his office. For health reasons he was given a parish collaborator from 1764 onwards.
