Friedrich Duss

Friedrich Duss (born March 28, 1895 in Neubulach ; † April 12, 1972 ibid) was a German entrepreneur and founder of the Friedrich Duss machine factory .

With the development of his factory from small beginnings, Friedrich Duss made a significant contribution to the prosperity of the city of Neubulach by creating jobs. Quite a few young citizens found a training position in coveted metal professions with him. The creation of a kindergarten and school, as well as the work of the church and the local associations are due to his support and the trade tax from his company. By resolution of the municipal council on January 22, 1965, Friedrich Duss was granted honorary citizenship in recognition and gratitude for his services.

A street in his hometown is named after him today.
