Friedrich Gerhart
Friedrich Gerhart († after 1463 ) was a German Benedictine and author of theological writings.
He was often identified with the writer of mathematical and astronomical texts who also appeared in the writings from the St. Emmeram Abbey in Regensburg as a frater fridericus . However, based on a comparison of the manuscripts, these could be assigned to Friedrich Amann , who was also active in St. Emmeram . Friedrich Gerhart is the author of the manuscripts Codex Latinus Monacensis 14131, 14140 and 14656, which are now kept in the Bavarian State Library in Munich.
