Friedrich Greve (politician, 1907)

Friedrich Greve (born March 19, 1907 in Mörsen ( Syke district ); † June 2, 1994 Twistringen ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Greve was a farmer and took over the parental farm after finishing agricultural school. From 1940 he was called up for military service, in August 1944 he was taken prisoner by the United States, from which he was released in April 1946. In the same year he became mayor of his birthplace Mörsen, a position he held until 1965. He was on the boards of directors and supervisory boards of agricultural associations, cooperatives and associations. In addition, he was still farming judge in District Court Bassum .

Greve was a member of the district council since 1952, including a member of the district committee. In the 5th and 6th electoral periods from May 20, 1963 to June 20, 1970 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament. The most important office was secretary of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 28, 1967 to April 23, 1969.

At the age of 79, he was again a member of the state parliament in the 11th electoral period from June 21, 1986 to June 20, 1990.
