Friedrich Guimpel
Friedrich L. Guimpel (born August 1, 1774 in Berlin , † January 17, 1839 in Berlin) was a Prussian, German painter and engraver, primarily of botanical illustrations.
Guimpel began his work as a painter in the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin . In later years he became self-employed and was royal acad from 1814. Artist. From 1817 he taught as a royal Prussian professor at the Royal Prussian Academy of the Arts in Berlin.
