Friedrich Herte

Friedrich Herte (born October 30, 1902 in Veltheim ; † unknown) was a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the People's Chamber .

Life

The son of a master roofer learned the trade of a druggist after attending primary school from 1917 to 1920. In 1920/21 he worked as a druggist and laboratory assistant in Braunschweig and Hanover and in 1922 attended the Druggist Academy in Braunschweig. From 1923 to 1925 he completed an apprenticeship as a roofer and took over his parents' roofing business in 1925. In 1934 he passed the master's examination as a roofer in Halberstadt. Herte became a member of the NSDAP in 1937 . In 1938 he moved to Aschersleben .

After the end of the Second World War he became a member of the CDU and represented his party in the GDR People's Chamber in the third electoral period from 1958 to 1963 . He was a member of the CDU district executive and from 1957 a member of the Aschersleben district council.

Professionally, he was a master roofer and, as such, has been chairman of the “Neues Deutschland” trade production cooperative in Aschersleben since 1958 .
