Friedrich Johannsen (born March 14, 1944 in Schüttorf ) is a German Protestant theologian and religious educator .

Life

Friedrich Johannsen was born on March 14, 1944 in Schüttorf in the county of Bentheim, is married and has three children. In 1965 he made at the Gymnasium Dionysianum Rheine / Westf. Abitur, in order to then study Protestant theology, education and science of politics in Bethel and Göttingen. With these courses he qualified for the 1st and 2nd theological exams, the ordination as pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran. Landeskirche Hannover and the 1st state examination for teaching at grammar schools. 1971–1974 Friedrich Johannsen worked as a teacher at a grammar school and an orientation level in Northeim. From 1974 to 1981 he worked as a scientist. Assistant in the Ev. Theology and religious education of the PHN Dept. Hanover, where he received his doctorate in 1979. 1981–1989 Friedrich Johannsen was Academic Counselor in the Ev. Theology and religious education of the PHN Dept. Hanover. In 1986 his habilitation in the field of Ev. Theology and religious education. In 1989 he was appointed to a professorship for Protestant theology and religious education at the University of Hanover . He held this professorship until his retirement in 2012.
