Peter Biehl

Peter Biehl (born March 9, 1931 in Hamburg ; † April 2, 2006 ) was a Protestant theologian .

He studied Protestant theology in Bethel, Tübingen, Zurich, Basel, Göttingen and Marburg. In 1960 he married Eva-Maria von Ungern-Sternberg . From 1956 to 1969 Biehl worked as a personal assistant to Rudolf Bultmann and from 1961 to 1969 as a lecturer at the Institute for Religious Education in Loccum . In 1969 he was finally appointed to the University of Education in Göttingen , where he was Professor of Protestant Religious Education until 1996.
