Friedrich "Fritz" Jungblut (born August 19, 1907 in Munich ; † unknown) was a German - Austrian speed skater .
Career
Jungblut, who was born in Germany, lived in the Austrian capital Vienna and started for the Vienna Ice Skating Club . He competed for Austria at world and European championships. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 , Jungblut competed for the German delegation over 500 m (20th place), 1500 m (11th place) and 5000 m (16th place). In total, he set five national records on distances between 1000 m and 10,000 m. At the World Championships in 1928 and 1931, he finished 14th.
As a teenager, he finished fourth at the European Championships in 1926. Five years later it came in at number twelve. He was victorious in the Austrian championships from 1926 to 1928 and 1930. In 1931 he finished second and in 1931 third.
