Friedrich Koch (born October 20, 1870 in Mannheim , † February 21, 1938 in Heidelberg ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a dentist , Koch served as a one-year volunteer in the 2nd Baden Grenadier Regiment "Kaiser Wilhelm I." No. 110 after attending the Mannheim high school , most recently as a lieutenant in the reserve . After his service, he studied law in Heidelberg and Berlin . During his studies in 1889 he became a member of the Frankonia Heidelberg fraternity . After his exam in 1893 and his doctorate in 1894 as Dr. iur. in 1899 he was appointed magistrate in Mannheim and in 1905 chief magistrate . He was a member of the Association for Social Policy and Chairman of the Young Liberal State Association . From 1909 to 1918 he was a member of the Baden Estates Assembly for the National Liberal Party . He later became the district court director .
