Friedrich Kofler (politician)

Friedrich Kofler (born February 26, 1949 ) is an Austrian politician .

Life

Friedrich Kofler began his work as a functionary of the Greens (including a member of the board of the Wiener Grünen Bildungswerkstatt, former federal finance officer, member of the federal board) and interest representative in the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. From 2005 to 2010 he was chairman of the business consulting and information technology group (UBIT) in the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of the professional association committee for business consulting and information technology and a member of the economic parliament in the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. In the Chamber of Commerce elections in 2010, he broke away from the Green Economy parliamentary group and started with his own list of names. This was able to achieve a mandate, but Kofler did not take it, so that Silvia Payer, second in the list, was able to move up.

During his time as stakeholders of the computer science industry its special attention was given to acknowledge and promote the open-source movement, a SME -friendly control computerimplentierter inventions ( software patents ), as well as paving the way for the acceptance of paternity leave .

Kofler works as an IT entrepreneur and is registered as a sworn and court-certified expert for information technology and processing in the list of experts of the Federal Ministry of Justice.
