He regularly wrote theater reviews for the "Theater-Eule" in the magazine Eulenspiegel and short stories. In 1989 he moved with his wife to Klosterfelde ( district of Barnim ) and regularly wrote columns for the daily newspaper “ Oranienburger Generalanzeiger ”, which appears in the district of Oberhavel . After the death of his wife in 2014, he lived very withdrawn and died in October 2016 in the district of Klosterfelde belonging to the municipality of Wandlitz.

reception

A popular figure of Wiesner is the hairdresser Wilhelm Kleinekorte, who humorously talked about political and general problems in Eulenspiegel during fictional "hairdressing stories". Kleinekortes trademark was the native Berlin dialect, whereby he preferred to use those foreign words whose exact pronunciation he did not know, but assigned their meaning with apt ambiguity. A “reduction cure” then became, for example, an “editorial cure” etc. The greeting from Kleinekortes literally became: “Neh'm Se Platz, Mr. Jeheimrat! What's new on the building? Had a night shift again? ”The popularity of his character earned Wiesner a supporting role as a hairdresser in the children's film Kai out of the box in 1988 .

His greatest successes include the ideas and scripts for the television series Spuk unterm Riesenrad , Spuk im Hochhaus und Spuk aus Outside , and he was also involved in numerous scripts for cinema and television films (including Signals - A Space Adventure , Stülpner Legend and three episodes of Police call 110 ).
