Friedrich Ludwig Buhl

Friedrich Ludwig Buhl (* in the 18th century in Korbach ; † February 2, 1843 there ) was mayor and member of parliament.

Buhl was the owner of a farm. He studied law and became a lawyer. In the years 1800–1810, 1816–1822 and 1826–1827 he was mayor of Korbach and represented the city in the estates of the principality of Waldeck . In 1811 a new city order came into effect in Korbach. After that, the mayor of Korbach was no longer elected by the town's guilds, but appointed for life by the sovereign. Prince Friedrich Karl August appointed the former city secretary Wilhelm Waldeck as the new mayor. Buhl was appointed mayor of the economy, which corresponded to the job of a chamberlain.
