Friedrich Marian

Friedrich Marian (born May 21, 1817 in Böhmisch Kamnitz ; † November 24, 1869 in Brno ) was a Bohemian chemist.

He studied for three years at the Charles University in Prague and then at the Technical University in Prague . From 1853 to 1867 he was a teacher at a secondary school in Loket and worked on sugar refining . From 1867 to 1869 he was professor of chemical technology at the University of Brno .
