Friedrich Platzer

Friedrich Platzer (born May 7, 1928 in St. Johann in Engstetten , † June 27, 1975 in Linz ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and businessman. Platzer was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1968 to 1975 .

After completing elementary and secondary school, Platzer attended commercial school and in 1953 went into business for himself as a regional product dealer and innkeeper. He then worked as a fruit juice and fruit wine producer and became a local councilor in 1955 . In 1961 he was promoted to executive councilor, in 1963 took over the office of vice mayor and in 1970 the office of mayor of St. Johann in Engstetten. After the congregation was united with St. Peter in der Au , Platzer was vice mayor from 1971 to 1972 and then councilor until 1975. He also represented the ÖVP between May 31, 1968 and June 27, 1975 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
