St. Johann in Engstetten is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of St. Peter in der Au in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 122 building areas with 61,294 m² and 108 gardens on 302,105 m² in the cadastral community of St. Johann in Engstetten, in 1989/1990 there were 118 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 177 and in 2009/2010 there were 170 buildings on 429 building areas.
Agriculture
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 646 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 42 hectares were forest areas.
