Hohenreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of St. Peter in der Au in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 55 building areas with 36,593 m² and 39 gardens on 161,110 m² in the cadastral community Hohenreith and also in 1989/1990 there were 55 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 82 and in 2009/2010 there were 62 buildings on 82 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 481 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 108 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 472 hectares and 130 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 468 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 129 hectares. The average soil climate number of Hohenreith is 22.9 (as of 2010).
