St. Michael am Bruckbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of St. Peter in der Au in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 176 building areas with 70,403 m² and 120 gardens on 467,785 m² in the cadastral community of St. Michael am Bruckbach, in 1989/1990 there were 175 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 451 and in 2009/2010 there were 276 buildings on 470 building areas.
Agriculture
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 853 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 147 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 825 hectares and 186 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 810 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 188 hectares. The average soil climate number in St. Michael am Bruckbach is 31.4 (as of 2010).
