Friedrich Rumler-Siuchniński

Friedrich Rumler-Siuchniński (born March 15, 1884 in Pilsen , † 1953 ) was a painter, graphic artist and craftsman. He used to sign “FR”.

Life

Rumler-Siuchniński studied in Paris and Berlin , among others with Lovis Corinth . He worked in Berlin and Worpswede and was a member of the German Association of Artists. He designed the cover for Erich Mühsam's Fanal magazine .

A portrait of Mühsam by Friedrich Rumler-Siuchniński is in the possession of the Foundation Archive of the Academy of Arts in Berlin. Two of his works, a still life and the picture Im Dorf , were published in 1922 in the anthology Dreissig Jahre Worpswede . On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the Worpswede artists' community, a series of exhibitions was designed for 2014. Rumler-Siuchniński's painting Weg bei Worpswede , created around 1920, is shown nonstop in the information brochure worpswede .
