Friedrich Seifert (lawyer)
Friedrich Seifert (born April 16, 1901 in Selb ; † after 1960) was a German lawyer.
After studying law, he gained promotion to Dr. jur. and since March 1, 1931 worked as a local court advisor in Hof . He was appointed to the position of First Public Prosecutor in Ansbach from June 1, 1934. On August 1, 1935, he joined the NSDAP and was actively involved in party work. Since April 1, 1937, he was a district judge at the district court in Nuremberg , where he was an assessor at the Nuremberg Special Court .
On January 1, 1938, he moved to the 4th Large Criminal Chamber in Nuremberg as an assessor. He was also the chairman of the IV Small Criminal Chamber. On April 24, 1939, he was transferred to the German regional court in Eger . He was appointed President of the Eger Special Court towards the end of 1942. He was promoted to District Court Director on March 1, 1943. Several people were sentenced to death by the special court under his chairmanship. According to the head of the SD in Eger, Forster, Seifert held the position of a shop steward for the SD in Eger.
In the 1960s Seifert worked at the Augsburg Regional Court as Regional Court Director.
