Friedrich Heinrich Stöxen (born February 25, 1872 in Bremen , † February 12, 1939 in Bremen) was a member of the Bremen Parliament and Senator ( SPD ).

biography

education and profession

Stöxen attended elementary school and learned the profession of engraver, which he practiced until 1905. From 1905 to 1923 he worked as an employee of the Bremen party printing company and from 1923 to 1933 as managing director and editor of the SPD newspaper Delmenhorster Volkswacht and from 1930 Delmenhorster Volksblatt .

Stöxen became a member of the SPD and he was in the union. From 1900 to 1904 he was chairman of the local association of gold and silver workers and the section of gold and silver workers in the German Metalworkers 'Association in Bremen and from 1904 to 1905 chairman of the branch of the metalworkers' association in Bremen.

In 1914 he became the SPD district leader in Bremen. In the 14th to 16th electoral term from 1908 to 1918 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship and after the First World War in 1919/1920 a member of the Bremen constituent assembly . From April 1919 to July 1920 he was appointed Bremen Senator in the Senate under Karl Deichmann (SPD).
