Friedrich Wendig

Friedrich Wendig (born May 29, 1921 in Sorau ; † October 31, 2005 ) was a German lawyer and politician ( FDP ).

Wendig was a judge and administrative officer (government vice-president) in Goslar . From 1960 to 1970 he was Ministerialrat in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics and Transport, after which he held the office of District President in Osnabrück until 1972 .

Wendig joined the FDP in 1958, was a member of the state board of the FDP in Lower Saxony between 1969 and 1983 and a member of the German Bundestag from 1972 to 1983 . He was always elected via the Lower Saxony state list. In the Bundestag he was a member of the Interior Committee and the Committee on Internal German Relations.
