Ahmad Ahmad El-Amawy

Ahmad Ahmad El-Amawy ( Arabic أحمد أحمد العماوي, DMG Aḥmad Aḥmad al-ʿAmāwī ; * July 1932 ) is an Egyptian politician .

Life

Ahmad Ahmad El-Amawy was a member of the Shura Council . He was involved in trade unions from 1966 and became chairman of a chemical union.

Amawy studied until 1968, graduating with a bachelor's degree in law . After graduating, he headed an Egyptian trade union umbrella organization and was sent to the International Labor Organization in 1987 . He was Deputy General Secretary of the Arab Labor Organization and is a founding member of the National Democratic Party of Egypt . From 1993 to July 9, 2004, Amawy was Minister for Employment and Migration in the Ganzuri I Cabinet and the Abaid Cabinet .
