Friedrich Wiebe

Friedrich Wiebe , also Friedrich Ernst Eduard Wiebe , (born February 14, 1829 in Flatow , West Prussia, † February 15, 1882 in Berlin ) was a German railroad builder.

biography

Wiebe's father was the lawyer Friedrich Leopold Wiebe, his mother a nee Schirrmeister. His uncle was the engineer and builder Eduard Wiebe . He had three brothers, including the engineers Hermann and Adolf Wiebe .

Wiebe took the surveyor's examination in 1852 and then studied at the Berlin Building Academy . There he passed the master builder examination in 1858 . In April 1858 he started working for the Bergisch-Märkische Eisenbahn . In September 1865 he became a railway builder in Mönchen-Gladbach and in December 1866 a railway construction inspector at the Lower Silesian-Märkische Railway in Berlin. In September 1867 he went to Bremen to join the Hanover Railway and in 1871 became chief operations inspector. In March 1872 he became a building officer and member of the railroad management in Hanover and in November of the same year a government and building officer. In March 1875 he became Imperial Councilor in the Reich Railway Office , in 1876 Privy Councilor and Lecturing Council and in 1882 Privy Higher Government Council.
