Friedrich Wilhelm Brinkmann

Friedrich Wilhelm Brinkmann (born June 8, 1920 in Exter (Vlotho) , † September 24, 1994 ) was a German textile manufacturer .

Life

Brinkmann was born on June 8, 1920 in Exter, Herford district , in East Westphalia . After training as an industrial clerk from 1934 to 1937, he worked as a clerk from 1937 to 1939 .

He returned to his homeland seriously wounded from the Second World War . First, he again worked for several months as Commercial employee, then he founded on January 1, 1947 his first operation, a reward clothing for men's and women 's clothing in wages in Herford . Just one year later he was marketing his first collection of coats and trousers. The company expanded in the following years through numerous business takeovers and from this the Brinkmann Group developed , which Brinkmann has managed since 1986 together with his sons Klaus and Wolfgang .

He lived with his family in Herford.

Friedrich Wilhelm Brinkmann died on September 24, 1994, his wife Margot Brinkmann, née Spilker, on March 4, 2003.
