Friedrich Wilhelm Otte (* 1795 in Uelzen ; † January 26, 1861 in Flensburg ) was a German painter.
Life
Otte worked as a vedout painter , at times he was in Stockholm as a drawing teacher for Princes Oskar and Leopold of Sweden. Otherwise he worked in Flensburg and the surrounding area from the 1830s. He created a 4 meter long view of the city of Flensburg for the Danish library in Flensburg as a watercolor. In addition, views of other cities such as Lübeck and Rostock . His cityscapes are today also of architectural historical importance.
