Friedrich Wilke (politician, 1943)

Friedrich Wilke (born December 13, 1943 in Papenburg ) is a German politician of the FDP and university lecturer.

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1965, Friedrich Wilke studied economics at the universities of Freiburg im Breisgau and Münster from 1965 to 1970. He graduated in 1970 with a degree in economics. In 1973 he received his doctorate. rer. pole. From 1970 to 1975 he was employed as a research assistant at the Institute for Transport Science at the University of Münster.

From 1975 to 2000, Wilke was professor of economics at the Gummersbach department at Cologne University of Applied Sciences . He was vice dean and dean of the computer science department from 1985 to 1989. From 1989 to 1994 and again from 1998 to 2000 he acted as spokesman for the Gummersbach department at Cologne University of Applied Sciences.

Wilke has been a member of the FDP since 1995. He is a member of the board of directors of the FDP district association Oberbergischer Kreis. He was spokesman for the district association from 1996 to 2000. From 2000 to 2005 he was a member of 13 . Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia , which he entered via the state list. In 2004, Wilke hit the headlines when he imported six cartons of cigarettes from Poland to Germany, but did not clear them properly. The cigarettes were cleared by Wilke; no proceedings were opened for the minority of the offense.

Wilke moved into the Oberbergischer Kreisag in 2004 and has been the 1st deputy district administrator there since 2009.
