Friedrich von Ahlefeldt (landlord, 1551)

Friedrich von Ahlefeldt (* 1551 ; † 22.12.1607 ) was heir to Seestermühe , Halb-Søgård including Årtoftgård in North Schleswig, Kasseedorf , Gut Tangstedt and Arlewatt , district councilor of Aabenraa and ducal district administrator of Schleswig-Holstein.

Life

Friedrich von Ahlefeldt was from 1597 to 1605 was a councilor of Aabenraa. In 1603 he was in the entourage of Duke Johann Adolph von Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf to pay homage to the city of Hamburg . He signed this homage on October 29, 1603, in which the privileges of the city were confirmed by King Christian IV . He later also became the Princely District Administrator in Holstein. His first wife Catharine von Rantzau († 1587), who brought him the Arlewatt estate, was a daughter of the royal governor Heinrich Rantzau and his wife Christine . On February 7, 1592 he married Dorothea von Blome, the daughter of Dietrich von Blome. He had six children with both women, including Johann von Ahlefeldt .
