Friedrich von Klett

Jacob Friedrich Klett , from 1807 von Klett , (born November 27, 1781 in Oppelsbohm , Oberamt Waiblingen , † December 25, 1869 in Ludwigsburg ) was a Württemberg administrative officer and member of the state parliament.

life and work

Friedrich Klett was the son of the pastor in Oppelsbohm and Cannstatt Justinus Klett (1740-1815) and Agnes Magdalene Vaihinger (1751-1818). He had eight siblings, three of whom died early.

He was an auditor and regimental quartermaster in Infantry Regiment No. 2, in this function he took part in Napoleon I's Russian campaign in 1812 . In November 1813 he was released from military service at his request. In 1814 he became Secretary of the Upper Government in Stuttgart and in 1817 Government Assessor in Ludwigsburg. There he became a councilor in 1822. In 1831 he moved to Stuttgart as city director, receiving the title of senior government councilor. On November 20, 1837 he was then first councilor of the government of the Neckar district in Ludwigsburg and he was also awarded the title of Vice Director.

From 1838 to 1844 Friedrich von Klett was a member of parliament for Neckarsulm in the Württemberg state parliament .
