Friedrich's house

The Friedrichsche Haus is a listed residential building in the Salbke district of Magdeburg .

The building is located at Repkowstrasse 1 on the corner of Repkowstrasse and Kreuzhorststrasse. It was created in 1903 by the master bricklayer Wilhelm Jänecke for the farmer Franz Friedrich . Jänecke had previously built the practically identical Kupitz house in Salbker Friedhofstrasse . The representative two to three-story house was built from bricks and is plastered. The architectural style is eclectic and takes on elements of the Swiss house style and the Gothic . The facade is structured by brick bands. The protruding saddle roofs with wooden decorations below are striking. The location towards the street corner is emphasized by a corner projecting crowned with a triangular gable .
