The Frigga Peak is a 1,570 m high mountain on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises on the Foyn coast of Graham Land on the southern flank of the Anderson Glacier .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) mapped it in 1947 based on its own measurements. Aerial photographs were taken in December 1947 during the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948). The FIDS named the glacier after Frigga , a goddess from Germanic mythology , in which she is considered the weaver of clouds. The background to the naming is the striking cloud formation at the top of the mountain.
