history
The club was founded in 1930 by members of two street teams. In 1947 Frisia qualified for the Landesliga Weser / Ems , where they played for two years. A highlight was the local derby against VfL Germania Leer in front of 3500 spectators. In 1949 the club was one of the founding members of Amateur League 1 , which it belonged to until 1963.
