Fritz-Jürgen Kador

Fritz-Jürgen Kador (born November 22, 1932 in Saarau , Schweidnitz district, † July 17, 2010 ) was a German economist .

Life

After being expelled from Silesia, Kador came to Hildesheim, where he graduated from high school in 1954. He studied economics in Göttingen and Berlin and graduated in 1958 with a degree in economics. In July 1961 he received his doctorate as Dr. rer. pole.

After working as a research assistant, he joined the Cologne-based mechanical engineering company Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz in 1963 , where he was employed in the human resources department for ten years. From 1973 until his retirement on March 31, 1998, he was head of department at the Confederation of German Employers' Associations (BDA) in Cologne.

In addition to his professional activity, Kador took on a number of voluntary activities. From 1985 to 2001 he was chairman of the research association for occupational physiology and occupational safety at the TU Dortmund . In addition, he was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Silesian Cultural Works Foundation and, until 2002, a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Friends and Supporters of the Silesian Cultural Works Foundation, as well as treasurer of the Silesian House Association in Königswinter and member of the supervisory board of the Bergstadt Verlag Wilhelm Gottlieb Korn (Würzburg) for many years . Kador has published numerous works in the field of human resource management.
