Fritz Jahn (clergyman)

Friedrich Timotheus Gustav "Fritz" Jahn (born January 24, 1863 in Züllchow , Pomerania , † 1931 in Züllchow) was a pastor, director of the Züllchower institutions , author and collector of games.

Life

Fritz Jahn was the son of Gustav Jahn and his second wife Dorothea von Dieskau. At the age of 25 he took over the management of the Züllchower Anstalten from his father and ran the business for a good 30 years. He is known as a "game pastor" because he not only collected and published board games himself, but also had games made in the institutions and used them in the upbringing of difficult children.
