Fritz Mayer-Beck

Fritz Mayer-Beck (born February 8, 1907 in Vienna , † July 30, 1977 in Leoben ) was an Austrian graphic artist and illustrator .

Fritz Mayer-Beck worked as an illustrator for various book publishers. Mainly he supplemented the works of authors, such as Paul Anton Keller with his woodcuts . After studying at the Vienna Academy, he worked in Styria . Many exhibitions and catalogs published for them, mostly in black and white, with graphics and reverse glass pictures or his charcoal drawings made him known beyond the borders of Austria.
