Fritz Schulze (politician)

Fritz Schulze (born January 14, 1928 in Lübeck ) is a German Protestant theologian and politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After primary school, Fritz Schulze attended the Lübeck High School for the Cathedral and graduated from high school there in the spring of 1947. He then studied Protestant theology in Mainz, Zurich and Kiel and completed his first theological exam in Kiel in 1952. Until 1958 he worked as a vicar and attended the Preetz seminary . He passed his second theological exam in the spring of 1954, also in Kiel. He then worked until 1957 as a pastor in a Schleswig-Holstein congregation. From 1957 to 1961 he worked at a theological convict in Göttingen as a study inspector and then worked as a pastor in Bücken until 1967.

He joined the SPD in August 1962. In 1964 he became a councilor in the community of Bücken. From June 6, 1967 to June 20, 1970 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (6th electoral term). He is married and has four kids.
